As a new year is starting, I’m transitioning my photography style to be a bit more simplistic 🙂 Don’t get me wrong, I love me some props… and still will be using them with my sessions, but I’m really appreciating the more simplistic, baby-lead poses these days. I feel like these are the shots that most parents want to frame and print, because they are timeless, and truly focus (pun intended) on baby.
What are your thoughts? When it comes to newborns, do you prefer more props in your photos or simplistic shots?
I still have a few openings for my Holiday Studio sessions! Family Sessions are wrapping up for the 2017 season, and the Christmas Tree farm mini sessions are completely sold out, but make sure to book your spot for the Studio holiday session for kiddos to make sure you have those awesome Holiday card photos!
As the fall season is coming to a wet and dreary end, I’m finally getting some time to keep up with all these blog posts with my gorgeous clients!
Thank you to everyone who booked their fall family mini-sessions this year. It was so great seeing new clients out here in the greater western Chicago area, as well as all my loyal clients who came in from Chicago for their fall family photos
I had a great time photographing Jack and his family Sunday night in Batavia. They came all the way from the city for their first family photos … I hadn’t seen Jack since his newborn photo session, but he was a smiley as they come!
